Gray Fox Coffee and Wine Bar (opened by the owners of The Copper Hen Cakery and Kitchen) is looking to hire a new multifaceted individual with the ability to barista, serve and bartend as needed. With a modern approach to vibrant, innovative beverages and food, we aim to provide swift and friendly service in a cleverly designed environment. We are located in the heart of downtown, and while parking can be challenging, the area offers a fresh hub of public transportation options.
The position is part time, Monday through Friday. A perfect candidate will carry a flexible schedule and a willingness to work a variety of shifts ranging from 7am-8pm. There will also be periodic opportunities to pick up extra evening hours whenever we host large events. Fortunately, we are only open until 7pm, so the latest one will ever have to work is 8pm, and never on the weekends!
As a barista, your counter service responsibilities will include making espresso drinks, blended drinks, coffee, and tea, as well as operating the Toast POS system in service of our customers. As a bartender or server, you should be familiar with varietals of wine and steps of table service as well as the ability to multitask. All positions at Gray Fox require a team-oriented mentality.
All applicants should have a warm personality, knowledge of coffee & wine, a sense of timeliness, a flexible attitude, a strong work ethic, and excellent sense of service. Starting pay is $10.25/hr and includes tips.
