Exciting opportunity open at growing family-owned business in Downtown, Robbinsdale.
Were looking for a full-time Event Banquet Lead with previous experience in the hospitality industry.
Our company has an offsite catering division in charge of more than 130 events per year. We serve the Twin Cities and surrounding metropolitan area (incl. Stillwater).
You will be required to assist in the planning and food preparation for the scheduled events, as well as event the execution once training has been completed.
This is a position for a driven individual who wants to gain experience in the field as well as the potential to grow within the company.
Requirements:
3+ years of kitchen experience/banquet event experience
Strong organizational/time management skills
Teamwork and constant communication are essential for day-to-day operations
Follow recipes and instructions for food preparations to a high degree of accuracy
Self-motivated and proactive
Punctuality and accountability
Must adhere to high cleaning, food handling and food labeling standards
Ability to drive van/large truck (clean driving record)
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Must work weekends
