Barrio Restaurant Group, an award winning restaurant group, is now accepting resumes and applications for a seasoned high volume bartender. We have recently remodeled our restaurant and are looking to add a couple of new people to add to our great staff and new vibe. We are looking for an individual who is very organized and full of energy. Exceptional communication skills. Has the ability to multitask and work well under pressure, and be professional.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Strong beverage knowledge, including craft cocktails, beers, wines and spirits with an emphasis on tequila
-2+ years of bartending experience
-Ability to work a busy well with craft cocktails and serve guests at a 20 seat bar top
-Ability to communicate professionally with guests and co-workers alike
-Positive attitude and the ability to maintain that attitude while under pressure
-Someone who is self-motivated, enjoys working independently as well as part of a team.
-Willing and able to take tables as needed
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Serve multiple tables of Guests simultaneously as determined by management
-Record Guest orders and enter them into Micros POS
-Refill drinks and deliver food as soon as necessary
-Provide great Guest experience through menu presentation and suggestive selling, and personality
-Check Guests' identification and serve alcoholic drinks adhering to state and local regulations.
-Work in team environment
-Perform opening and closing side duties as assigned (e.g., ice buckets, roll silverware, set up soda machines, etc.)
-Balancing cash drawers accurately
-Providing support to servers by running food and clearing tables when the bar is not busy
