The Copper Hen Cakery and Kitchen in Minneapolis area seeks an experienced pastry chef and cake decorator. The position is early AM salaried 40-50 hours per week Tuesday through Saturday. Applicants must have pastry experience (5+years preferred). Specifically, cake frosting and decorating skills, familiarity with mixing a variety of cake batters and doughs, and general bread knowledge. Candidates must be able to work efficiently, independently and promote a positive work environment. We are also looking for an individual with management skills that can help organize the work load and lead our pastry assistant and bread baker. Preference will be given to applicants submitting a formal resume documenting skills relevant to the position and prior work experience (photos of previous work would be valued). Our wages are competitive in the industry and we will pay a premium for experience.
