What the job includes:
- Helping older adults with memory loss live a rewarding daily life
- Assisting with basic daily tasks, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
- Being a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion
- Providing transportation for running errands, shopping, appointments and outings
- Being attentive to clients’ needs to alert the office of any health changes or safety risks
What you need to be successful:
- Experience as a caregiver is helpful but not required
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn quickly
- Compassion for and interest in people from all walks of life
- Dependability and integrity
- Physical ability to complete the demands of the job as a homemaker
What you need to know:
- Must be 21 years of age to apply
- Must have a reliable vehicle, current driver’s license and auto insurance
- This is a part-time position, typically 12 – 18 hours/week
- We are looking for caregivers in the Twin Cities metro area
