Our fast growing dental practice needs an additional Licensed or non licensed Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team. Our office is located in the heart of Minneapolis. We operate a busy office with main focus on family dental care. The office hours are Mon - Thu 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. Our staff enjoy super flexible schedule with 32 to 38 hours a week. The office is paperless, fully digital, modern and equipped with latest technology. Enjoy working with friendly staff, flexible hours and flexible vacations. We all work in a family atmosphere. Responsibilities and Duties:
Chair side assisting dentist
Prepare patients for dental procedures
Set up and breakdown dental operatory rooms
Patient electronic health record
Infection control and sterilizing dental instruments
Patient education before and after dental treatment
Child prophy
Taking X-rays
Qualifications and Skills:
Associate Degree in Dental Assisting (preferred)
Dental Assistant MN License (required)
Basic life Support (BLS) Current CPR certification (required)
At least one year experience is preferred
Excellent verbal communication skills
Team Player and multitasking skills
Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA rules
Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred
