Seeking a reliable, kind, experienced staff to work with male developmentally disabled clients every other weekend. The guys are fun, outgoing and not aggressive.
You will work from Friday night at 8pm to Sunday night at 10pm. (50 hours) every other weekend. Preferably you will be available to fill in other shifts on occasion.
You will help with meal preparation, med passing, assist with grooming/hygiene, help with basic chores, accompany in the community to social activities/cultural and religious activities of the clients choice. You will play games, go for walks, make crafts, and have FUN with the guys!
You must have relevant stable verifiable job experience of at least 18 months in the same position with the same company.
Generally, you will be going to sleep when the clients do between 9:30-10:30pm and awaking when they do between 7-8:00 am. You will be paid to sleep on site. But must be a fairly energetic morning person.
You must have a reliable vehicle, driver's license and insurance.
Preferably you will have a medication passing certificate, CPR/First Aid that is current.
Preferably you will live within 20 minutes of the group home in St. Paul.
You must pass a background check.
