Position Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to manage the recruitment of talent for clients including, but not limited to: developing recruiting strategies to meet client hiring objectives, sourcing candidates using a variety of sourcing methods, conducting interviews, facilitating pre-hire assessments, presenting candidates to clients, and making appropriate hiring decisions for temp and temp-to-hire positions. The Talent Manager may also submit candidates for client review for Direct Hire opportunities. The Talent Manager works with talent and customers to understand the needs and expectations of both parties, and then ensures that these needs are met or exceeded. Talent Managers are expected to facilitate exceptional customer/talent relations and maintain client and talent records in a compliant manner.

Requirements

Advanced knowledge of recruitment strategies, activities, resources and sources

Strong understanding and execution of employee relations practices

Ability to navigate employee relations issues and partner with key corporate teams to resolve

Customer service focused to exceed customer requirements and needs

Excels working within a fast paced environment

Exceeds customer requirements and needs

Ability to perform in a sales driven environment as a member of a team

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Willingness to travel when necessary to attend meetings and training classes

Knowledge of employment laws, and the ability to quickly become familiar with company policies and procedures to make informed decisions regarding placements

Ability to establish relationships with clients, peers, candidates, talent and centers of influence to drive business

Adept at coaching and counseling staff for optimal performance

Minimum of two years recruiting or sales experience, preferably within a service industry, and with a proven track record

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

Industry specific certifications preferred

Prior human resources experience or management experience a plus

Responsibilities

Perform recruiting activities, including but not limited to, social media recruiting, job board recruiting, networking, job fair attendance and direct sourcing.

Conduct thorough interviews, background investigations and assessing required for client assignments to maintain a pool of skilled talent at all times and ensures client and talent expectations, objectives, and related requirements are understood and met with each placement.

Negotiate pay rates and determine appropriate client bill rates.

Determine candidates appropriate to submit to client and manage the submission process from initial submission through interviewing and testing and finally assisting in determining placement of candidates.

Onboard candidates and prepare for client assignments, ensuring all client-specific documents are completed and that onboarding is completed in accordance with Advantage Resourcing policies and procedures.

Skill markets qualified talent to clients to drive revenue and match talent to appropriate opportunities.

Keep abreast of business within the marketplace, flip references to uncover prospects and refer leads to sales and management team as appropriate.

Assists with building on existing and new client relationships through understanding client operations and needs, and other methods of sourcing qualified candidates.

Interact regularly with the sales and operations staff to ensure accurate and complete communication with clients and talent.

Participate in networking opportunities within the community and develop key centers of influence.

Provides ongoing problem solving to clients regarding temporary work needs, Advantage Resourcing services, employee problems/difficulties and other related areas.

Investigates talent concerns/complaints, coordinates with human resources to address, and provides client and talent follow up as required.

Solicits, receives, and processes client talent requests in a timely manner.

Communicates Advantage Resourcing and client policies and procedures regarding employment, expectations, job requirements, benefits, and other employment conditions.

Supervises talent employees on a daily basis and provides coaching and counseling to the talent on continuous performance improvement, employment questions and problems, and related areas of concern; including up to termination or removal from projects.

Provides supervision, training and development to in-house talent and Talent Specialists.

Other duties as assigned.
