Ingrained Wood Studios is hiring!
We are a high-end custom cabinetry and millwork shop, with two locations in Minneapolis and Bloomington. We partner closely with contractors, architects, and designers to create exceptional products for the Twin Cities and surrounding areas.
We are looking for a strong, friendly, trustworthy, professional, and dependable person to fill a dual role of woodshop apprentice and delivery driver.
Woodshop Apprentice:
- Assist in receiving and storing material
- Assist in preparing materials
- Responsible for sanding millwork and cabinet components
As a woodshop apprentice, you will put the finishing touch on custom woodwork by carefully sanding it and preparing it for delivery. Our experienced woodworkers will provide you with training you as you develop valuable woodworking skills. You will also assist in other tasks in preparing and handling the materials alongside a mentor. Woodshop apprentice work will fill up most of your time during the week.
Delivery Driver:
- Deliver millwork and cabinetry between our cabinet and millwork shop as well as to jobsites throughout the metro.
- Deliver and move materials between jobsites when projects start-up or get completed.
- Maintain an organized cargo space
You will be responsible for delivery of millwork and cabinetry in our 16 ft. box truck between our shops, jobsites, and local vendors. Deliveries will include carefully loading, transporting, and unloading cabinetry and millwork in various stages of finish, while ensuring its safety when in your possession. From time to time, you will assist in moving jobsite materials and tools from a completed project to one that is starting up. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills. This work is physical, so we are seeking someone who is energetic and hard working. The applicant must be able to lift and carry heavy items up to 100 lbs.
No woodworking experience required – will train.
Delivery or moving experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Job Type: Full time, part time could be considered for the right applicant if desired
Hours: 7am – 3pm
Pay Range: $16-20/hr. depending on experience
