HIRING UPDATE We are now hiring strong candidates to join our phone canvass team. About Clean Water Action

At Clean Water Action we believe that those most affected by environmental degradation should have a voice at the table, and that solutions to environmental problems contribute to broader goals of justice for the most vulnerable among us.

We work to empower people to take action to protect America's waters, build healthy communities, and to make democracy work for all of us. With over 1 million members nationwide, Clean Water Action is at the forefront of grassroots efforts to protect our nation’s environment and public health. Clean Water Action offices work locally to sustain and improve environmental standards, preserve our invaluable natural resources, and promote democratic processes in which the voice of the citizens determines the policy that affects our communities and quality of life. For 45 years Clean Water Action has succeeded in winning some of the nation's most important environmental protections through grassroots organizing, expert policy research and political advocacy focused on holding elected officials accountable to the public.

About Our Canvass Team

Our phone canvass works to build affinity with our members and develop long-term investors in our advocacy work and citizen activists. Our members are critical for shifting policy, electing environmental champions, and creating lasting change to protect our water resources in MN and the US. Callers are trained on our campaigns and gain experience in organizing, environmental activism, politics, non-profit work, and fundraising. Prior work in any of these areas will support success in this position.

This remote position is perfect for those seeking flexible scheduling, with opportunities for long-term growth. Candidates who possess a strong commitment to environmental, social, and political justice, a positive attitude, and a good sense of humor will be well suited for this role. Bilingual candidates are a plus!
