Job Duties

Answer phone calls, schedule, coordinate and dispatch service calls for our technicians providing service to both our residential and commercial customers in a professional manner.

Creates and maintains new customer accounts with up to date and accurate information.

Understands and communicates credit/collections guidelines and resolves situations accordingly.

Ability to multi-task in an ever-changing environment with minimal supervision.

Proficient data entry skills.

Organizes service calls so that an HVAC technician is sent to a variety of locations in a timely manner and minimizing a carbon footprint.

Skills

The ability to maintain a dispatch board, along with the use basic computer software, such as ESC and all Microsoft applications. The dispatcher must be able to make judgment calls regarding the best plan of action for a particular job. You will oversee its implementation from beginning to end.

Good communication skills are crucial for an HVAC dispatcher. You must be able to serve as a liaison between customers and HVAC technicians providing great customer service to all of our customers.

Superior organizational skills and detail-oriented is a must have for this position.

This candidate should have knowledge of HVAC services in order to translate the needs of the customer to the technician and vice versa. However, the main duty of the HVAC dispatcher is to maintain the work schedules for field technicians. If you are unfamiliar with the HVAC world but are able to organize and schedule jobs, the HVAC portion will come with time.
