As a Recruiting Manager, you will be responsible for all recruitment activities within our facility. You will be responsible for placing advertisements, conducting interviews, making hiring decisions and managing paperless recruiting operations. For this position, we prefer if you have HR experience, with recruitment background. You will also be attending job fairs and recruiting in the local community as part of your strategic recruiting plan. This leadership role requires change management skills and continuing improvement abilities as we change to a paperless application process.

The Recruiting Manager reports to the Director, Operations and is expected to work 45-50 hours per week as assigned by the Director. Recruiting Managers are expected to be flexible and may be asked to work a variety of hours, holidays and weekends. Your schedule will be based on account needs, projects, vacation schedules, and special assignments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

-Find and hire the talent needed to fill the client’s orders.

-Effective orientation of new associates.

-Arrange local and remote job fairs.

-Evaluate and implement effective community outreach programs.

-Track , analyze and reports on metrics and effectiveness of our programs.

-Monitor effectiveness of all ad campaigns and other traffic inducing recruiting efforts.

-Develop recommendations for improvement and drive new initiatives.

-Develop and maintain short and long-term relationships with event, conference and program sourced leads.

-Create an ongoing candidate pipeline through various communication campaigns (i.e. calling and emailing, social media, online job boards).

-Manage, train and develop recruitment team.

-Strategic and tactical execution of high volume operations executed on a daily basis during high volume season.

-Compliance with all audit requirements of client and SMX.

-Evaluate effectiveness of on line application process and streamline where required.

-Learn client’s process paths.

Education/Experience

-BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required

-Minimum of 1 year of management experience required or equivalent experience

-2 – 5 years experience in recruiting or human resources and/or related field

-Strong Communication Skills required

-Computer Proficiency (MS Office, Excel, PPT and Word) required

-Strongly prefer proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and/or Human Resources Inventory System (HRIS)

-Excellent Interpersonal and detail oriented skills required

-Strong Customer Service /Client Relations required

-Demonstrated initiative and leadership abilities required

-Demonstrated eagerness and ability to learn in a fast paced environment required

-Strong organizational skills
