We are seeking a Property Manager that will successfully manage all operations of the HUD property by maintaining 100% occupancy, favorable budget, marketing plan, and daily management of all staff related functions.

Meet resident needs and expectations by training, guiding and supervising employees to be successful stewards of the physical plant and program operations of the property. Responsible for oversite of all affordable housing certifications of prospective applicants. Oversees annual and interim re-certification process of current residents in accordance with HUD rules and regulations.

This position is ultimately responsible for 24/7 oversight of the property.Responsibilities/Job Description

-Creates and maintains a high performing team for the property

-Oversite of Initial Certification of applicants and Re-Certification of resident

-Establishes and supports an environment conducive to the provision of quality services and high-level customer satisfaction

-Monitors financial performance

-Monitors the maintenance of the building and grounds and provides feedback/direction to appropriate staff as necessary

-Supports the development of a marketing plan aimed at sustaining strong occupancy

-Ensures that the building is compliant with all HUD/MHFA regulations

-Responsible for Handbook/Manual/Educational Training updates and legal proceedings involving compliance regulations/terminationQualifications

-Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree; Required

-Bachelor's Degree: List – Housing, related field; Preferred

-Assisted Housing Manager (AHM) Quadel ability to obtain and pass certification within 1 year of hire; Required

-Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS); Certified Manager of Senior Housing (CMSH); Certified Manager of Housing (CMH); Tax Credit Specialist (TCS); National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP); Preferred

-Three to Five Years Experience; Required

-Knowledge of HUD Regulations; Required

This complex is conveniently located in historic Midtown Minneapolis, MN with easy access to public transportation. We are among the first in senior housing buildings designed with the needs of the Deaf and Hard of hearing community in mind. This community is a building of 100+ units.​

Vaccination Update

As part of our ongoing efforts to protect the wellbeing of our teams and to provide a safe and healthy environment for the patients and communities we serve, all Ebenezer employees will be required to receive both an annual flu vaccination and the COVID-19 vaccination series. Current employees must have completed both vaccination schedules on or before January 4, 2021.

Any new hires who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to receive their first dose prior to their start date and their second dose (if receiving Moderna or Pfizer vaccines) within 4 weeks of their start date. Annual flu vaccinations are also required before the employment start date for employees who begin employment during the flu season. Accommodations requests will be reviewed on an individual basis.
