We Distribute Boar's Head Brand Products and currently expanding our team of Brand Ambassadors.
Overview:
Are you a foodie? Do you enjoy creating, presenting, and sharing food? We are looking for a friendly, outgoing individual to join our team. The Brand Ambassador is responsible for presenting, sampling and educating on Boars Head Brand delicatessen products to consumers in local retail stores. If you enjoy talking with people and have a passion for food, this is an excellent opportunity for you. This position offers competitive compensation.
Customers are located throughout the Twin Cities Metro
Job Description / Essential Functions:
Selling Events
Build awareness of Boars Head Brand premium delicatessen products by engaging consumers through product sampling
Actively promote Boars Head Brand products by educating consumers on flavor, nutritional information, and complimentary products
Possess a positive, energetic, and serving attitude
Complete additional activities or special projects as assigned
Brand Coach
Complete 1 on 1 training with customers employees including exceptional customer service, product knowledge, product parings, slicing technique, etc.
Complete assigned app based reporting
Minimum Requirements
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with food preparation
Keep work area neat and clean; exhibit good food safety and sanitation practices at all times
Must have own transportation and be willing to travel to different retail locations within assigned area
Ability to transport and set-up a folding table, utensils, platters, etc.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Basic computer skills
1+ years of experience as Brand Ambassador, Professional Culinary experience or 3 years of experience in a customer service, sales, or similar role
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours, events typically 6 hours long
Ability to bend, twist, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
Ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 40 lbs.; push or pull objects up to 50 lbs.
Working Conditions:
Ability to work in a refrigerated/freezer environment
Must have an internet enabled cell phone
