Minnesota Roadways Co. is a commercial asphalt paving and concrete company based out of the southern metro. As a multifaceted construction company, we consistently grow even in a slow economy and are always looking for experienced reliable team members to join our team.
As a mechanic at Minnesota Roadways Co. you will work in the shop year-round with occasional field calls during the construction season. You will perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of trucks and construction equipment with both diesel and gas engines. This position pays well with plenty of overtime during the construction season.
Responsibilities Include:
Diagnose problems and troubleshoot solutions for construction equipment
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Diesel truck repair and DOT inspection
Preventative maintenance on all types of equipment
Welding, cutting, and fabricating repairs if needed

Preferred Requirements:
Diesel Mechanic Program Certificate or equivalent
1 year previous experience
On time each day.
Quick learning and self-sufficient.
Acceptable driving record, Class A CDL is a plus but not required.
Ability to work overtime.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
