Our client in seeking a Java Developer/Technical Lead with a never stop learning attitude and the ability to move projects forward!

As a Java Developer/Technical Lead, this person will play a crucial role as we modernize our tech stack and architecture, while also maintaining existing applications. As a hands-on coder, this person will also provide technical leadership for various projects. They are a champion of modern software development, best practices, automation while preserving system reliability and stability. This person lives and breathes code, is meticulous about quality and top-notch applications.

This role will be up to a 2 year contract and onsite work in Minneapolis will be required in the Fall of 2021.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Designs and develops system integrations, web applications, project workflows.
• Equally comfortable writing clean/scalable code, doing code reviews, making technology design decisions.
• Can translate abstract technical concepts to people at all levels and varying technical abilities.
• Has successfully lead projects in an Agile team.
• Defines and champions technical standards and practices.
• Ability to work well with a cross-functional team of varying technical skill-sets
• Driven, self-motivated individual that takes pride in your work, ownership of your projects, and is accountable for the success of applications.
• Proven ability to manage projects, including timelines, scope and deliverables.
• Experience maintaining legacy systems.

Requirements

Skills Required:

Kafka and proven experience in Microservices is a MUST HAVE

5 or more years of Java development experience

1 or more years of Leadership experience

•Intelij

•Spring MVC

•Spring Boot

•Jenkins

•Cloud (PCF, AWS)

•MongoDB

Application Security experience is a plus
