Responsibilities

Technical Systems Engineering Lead with cross-functional efforts to define medical device product development projects. Working closely with customers/users/stakeholders in understanding their needs and developing requirements. Collaborating with the design engineering team to translate the requirements to other disciplines while ensuring the requirements are met throughout the product development process.

Minimum Qualifications


  • BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline

  • Experience in Systems Engineering

  • 6+ years working in design engineering in a heavily regulated environment

  • Experience working directly with customers gathering their needs

  • Experience developing requirements, V&V plans, and executing on validation (Human Factor studies, prototype evaluation

  • Experience with risk management, failure analysis, design FMEA - able to facilitate these activities

  • Continuous improvement experience

  • Demonstrated mentor or engineering team lead


Preferred Qualifications


  • Medical device experience

  • Background in development in cloud and mobile applications

  • Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS

  • Experience with human factors validation
