O'Neill Language Academy (OLA) is excited to hire a Spanish teacher to teach Spanish to toddlers and preschoolers in the suburb of Eagan, Minnesota. You will teach on-site at beautiful schools.
OLA will provide our teacher with excellent lessons plans, songs, games and everything needed to make learning Spanish fun for the children and for you! We will also provide you with ongoing training and mentoring because we want you to love your job, be good at it and be successful! This is a part-time position. To begin you will teach 30-minute classes two mornings a week between the hours of 9-11:30 am. We may have additional classes in Rochester starting soon if you are interested in more hours!
We are looking for someone with an intermediate to advanced level of Spanish. The candidate must love working with children and have experience with positive classroom management skills. Experience in acting, singing, playing an instrument is a plus but not necessary. Candidate must be professional and reliable and have a vehicle and a drivers's license.
Your pay will depend on the number of students in your classes so will begin earning between $21-50 per hour! Class sizes will never exceed 10 students for preschoolers and 7 for toddlers.
Teacher training is paid at $10 per hour. Your training will depend on how much experience you have. Some training will be one-on-one with our training director and some training will be in the classroom observing another teacher and gradually team-teaching until you feel you are ready to take over teaching on your own.
