Duties:
-Build rooftop HVAC units by assembling various complex component parts
-Required to perform a variety of assembly operations, moving within the area to meet production needs, performing tasks including buildup, electrical assembly, brazing, interior/exterior component fit-up, and final assembly
-Use a computer for assembly drawings
-Perform a quality check on the unit before it leaves the assembly station
-Perform 5S procedures
-Take part in the training process for all new team members
-Provide input regarding the performance of new team members
-Participate with other team members on safety, process and quality improvement teams
-Work with team members, supervisors and support areas to coordinate workflow to meet production requirements
-Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
-High School Diploma or GED or equivalent is required
-Two years of recent relevant work experience is required
-One year minimum of related assembly experience is preferred
-Ability to read blueprints, familiar with order acknowledgement and understand bill of materials
-Experience with the use of power and hand tools, electrical assembly and brazing
-Must be able to pass a physical assessment
-Must be able to pass a drug and background investigation
Positions available are for the 2nd shift: $17.55 - $22.00 Starting (Depending on Experience) + .80 Cent Shift Differential
