The Waterloo branch of Bill Doran is growing. Were accepting resumes/applications for candidates to join our sales team. Bill Doran is multi-location wholesale florist headquartered in Rockford, Illinois; one of the largest in the United States. We supply cut flowers, plants and hard goods such as silks, vases and foam structures for our retail customers.
As a salesperson in this branch youll be expected to build a relationship and earn the trust of a small group of customers assigned to you. In addition, youll be expected to work diligently at building your list of customers.
Floral knowledge is extremely helpful, but not necessary. Sales experience is helpful, but not necessary. Were interested in people with the talent and demeanor to connect with people. We will provide ample training in all aspects as needed.
Our branch environment is unique. This is the most fun youll have in a job if youre coachable, open to trying new ideas and willing to be uncomfortable as you take some personal risk trying something new.
We serve floral customers in the Eastern half of Iowa, Southeast Minnesota, Southwest Wisconsin and Western Illinois. Most of your work will be done on the phone pre-booking orders with florists and suggesting product from our 2,150 square feet of cooler footprint for daily needs One day per week youre expected to be in the fieldĀ meeting with your customers and calling on prospects.
