Summary:
The primary function of this position is to re-build transmissions, transfer cases and differentials.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Get direction from shop foreman on priority
Work with the tear down employees identify units that need to be prepped for re-manufacturing.
Remove internal bearings and gears and identify worn parts and dispose.
Identify bad parts and replace with new.
Ensure the finished unit is in good working order and cosmetically look like new.
Maintain a clean and safe work space.
Other tasks as directed.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Advanced automotive and mechanical skills.
Use of power tools.
Knowledge and Personal Attributes:
Able to work independently.
This is a full-time position in Zumbrota, MN(no telecommuting). We offer an excellent work/life balance and strong benefits. Compensation is competitive, depending on experience.
