We are seek a Welder/Fabricator for our growing business. If you are have experience in Welding or Fabricating automotive parts - this is the position for you.
Summary:
Repairs automotive drivetrain parts using welding, lathe or other forms of repair.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Plans and executes work schedule for repairing cases with direction from the Operations Manager.
Understand specifications and desired result.
Prepare and load materials onto the machine.
Ability to learn basic concept of CNC operation.
Prepare test run to check if the machine produces outputs according to specification.
Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process is within specification.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
Physically able to lift up to 100lbs.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Machinist and welding background a must.
Knowledge and Personal Attributes:
Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
Good attention to detail and results/self-driven approach.
Good communication skills.
MIG/TIG welding experience on steel and aluminum.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Ability to translate personal automotive ingenuity into a complete quality product.
Maintain an organized work environment.
Follow established safety procedures and policies.
