Trane Technologies in St Paul, MN is hiring a Senior User Experience Designer. In this role, you will work within a product model to create experiences that delight users and differentiate Trane products. Your solutions are grounded in research and analytics and may come to life in sitemaps, wireframes and high and low-fidelity prototypes. You might be right for this job if you are a creative thinker who enjoys working independently as well as collaborating with colleagues in a fast-paced agile environment.

Summary:

• Partner with experience designers, product managers, engineering and business stakeholders to gain alignment on solutions and align user and business needs.
• Take a human-centered design approach to translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that lead to beautiful, intuitive user experiences.
• Design and deliver user experiences optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Make strategic experience design decisions related to existing and new functions and features.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Ask smart questions, take risks and champion new ideas.

Skills and requirements:

• Experience in software such as - Sketch, Axure, InVision, XD
• Ability to conduct A/B testing and rapid prototyping
• Understand accessibility concerns.
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and partners.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
• Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.
• Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry's latest trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's / Associates degree and a minimum five (5) years experience in Human-Centered Design, Service Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Information Architecture, Communication, Instructional Design, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Design and analytics tools
• Exceptional Communication and Presentation Skills
