Job DescriptionLead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Please include this Job ID: 177113 in the subject line of the email.ResponsibilitiesOracle's Application Lab's (OAL) provide and implement best-in-class products and solutions for the Oracle internal HCM line of business.The Principal Product Manager role will be responsible for executing successful strategies and solutions that enable Oracle to deliver unparalleled value to our internal customers in HR, Recruiting and Payroll. You will collaborate, influence, and execute upon product strategy and vision within the core HCM platform. In this role, you will be managing and improving our integration processes as well as writing technical requirements, guiding the technical teams and testing final solutions.You’ll master executing short-term objectives while preparing for execution of long-term strategies by working closely with internal and external stakeholders. You will be part of a global team working closely with development, business partners, quality assurance, and cloud operations.The successful candidate will do the following in this role:Demonstrate working knowledge of a HCM cloud-based, software-as-a-service product platform.

Write well-articulated and concise epics and stories to address specific business requirements and roadmap initiatives

Interact directly with our internal stake holders, line business users, development, quality assurance, and more to understand and articulate business requirements and how best to implement new feature solutions with maximum customer impact

Work with internal teams to execute upon compliance, privacy, risk, information security, support, and operations

Effectively and succinctly socialize and communicate new enhancements and changes to internal and external stakeholders

Communicate effectively and crisply with your business partners, technical teams and development to rapidly deliver new features and turn on new capabilities.

Remove blockers and triage issues effectively in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Work effectively within JIRA, Confluence, and other agile-based tools

The Principal Product Manager will have integration experience and will have demonstrated the following skills:Working knowledge of cloud-based applications and architecture

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal (English proficiency required)

Ability to successfully translate business requirements into detailed, deconstructed functional requirements for development and QA to act upon

Experience using agile methodologies including writing user stories

Successfully deliver functionality that customers use, as well as successful iteration of a feature that improves customer adoption

Effective time management skills

Self-learner who adapts well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Contributes to process improvements and is an active and engaging team player who seeks out opportunities to assist and learn from other team members

Understanding and experience with the end-to-end software development lifecycle and methodologies around continuous application delivery

Passion and a genuine interest in product management and serving customers with simple but valuable application functionality

Ability to balance a sense of urgency with delivering thoughtfully considered and scoped feature functionality
