Candidate will be responsible for:
Preparing routine and novel samples for analysis via SEM and AFM analysis using ultramicrotomy, ion milling, and other conventional techniques.
Operating SEM and AFM and collecting data.
Complete basic image processing and data analysis.
Support product development engineers through physical property and optical testing/characterization, sample prep.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Associates degree with 2 years lab experience in position similar to REQ OR Bachelor of Science degree (Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or related discipline) OR equivalent experience. Would prefer BS degree
Experience with scanning electron microscopy (SEM)
Experience with atomic force microscopy (AFM)
Knowledge of, and experience with high resolution SEM imaging of a wide variety of materials (ex. metals, silicon, polymers).
