Position: .NET Developer
Duration: 18 months
Location: Saint Paul, MN (Remote Till Covid)

Roles and Qualifications
Sample Tasks

• Collaborate with business analysts, quality analysts, and developers to produce software designs
• Create program specifications and basic prototypes
• Transform software designs and specifications into high functioning code in the appropriate language
• Integrate individual software solutions to higher level systems
• Test code periodically to ensure it produces the desirable results and perform debugging when necessary
• Perform upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficient
• Create documentation for solutions
• Provide knowledge transfer

Minimum Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience developing applications with .Net Framework (ASP.net MVC, Entity Framework)
• Four (4) years of experience developing applications with C#
• Four (4) years of experience developing Web front ends (jQuery, HTML, CSS, JSON, Angular, Javascript)
• Four (4) years of experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Data Access Optimization)
• One (1) year of experience using remote collaboration tools such as: Microsoft Teams, Skype, SharePoint, etc.

Desired Skills

• Experience modernizing existing VB6, Classic ASP, or Silverlight applications to newer .Net technologies.
• Experience with Team Foundation Version Control
• Experience with using Azure DevOps server for managing workflow as well as working with build and release pipelines
• Experience with .Net Core/.Net 5 and its differences from .Net Framework 4.8
• Experience using Dependency Injection and coding to Interfaces
