We are a family owned 24 hour licensed adult foster care home providing supportive services for 4 adults who may be physically impaired, mentally impaired or developmentally delayed. We have been doing this for the past 16 years.
Job Description:
Enjoy a rewarding job working with disabled and mentally challenged adults in a peaceful country, family atmosphere over looking the lake. Work independently or with one other staff present. Enjoy taking residents on fun, relaxing outings or stay at home and do crafts or baking. One on one time provides a low stress feel while you take residents to appointments. Enjoy a non-rush environment with high staff ratio: two residents to one staff. This is your chance to really get to know our residents and allow them ample time to talk. While on the job you will do light house keeping and laundry, making beds, preparing meals , medication administration, recreational play, and assisting with therapy exercises. This job will provide you with ample time to practice your multi-tasking skills with residents who appreciate all you do for them.
Must have a loving caring heart with the desire and patience to help residents with mental illnesses, have the ability to multi-task, and have a natural instinct to provide a safe and healthy environment for our residents
