Twin City Tile and Marble Company has been an established leader in all types of ceramic tile, porcelain tile, paving tile, stone, terrazzo and resilient floor systems since 1910. The company has facilities in Eagan and Rochester. We are a rapidly growing union contractor with lots of work on the books throughout the Metro and surrounding areas. We are looking for motivated individuals that like to work hard and see their accomplishments at the end of each day.
TILE SETTER POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Twin City Tile and Marble Company is looking to hire ceramic tile setters with at least 4-5 years of experience.
We are a union employer so any candidates must be willing to sign up with the Local BAC 1 MN upon employment.
TILE SETTER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Must have at least 4-5 years tile setting experience.
Must be able to regularly lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to kneel 60-100% of the day
Available to work regular construction hours
Must have reliable transportation to get to all the various jobsites
Physical and drug test required
TILE FINISHER POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Assisting Journeyman Tile Setters throughout the day. This includes unloading and moving boxes of tile as well as material and tools. Following instructions from lead personnel and completing tasks without having to be reminded. Grouting, cutting and other techniques will be assigned as you progress. Also, house cleaning and safety are a priority. We are a Union Contractor with lots of room for growth.
Experience in our specific trade not necessary, on-the-job training will be provided. However, individual applying should like to do physical labor, enjoy working with hands and have problem solving capabilities. Any construction experience is preferred.
TILE FINISHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS
o Must be able to regularly lift 50-100lbs.
o Available to work regular construction hours
o Have reliable Transportation to get to various jobsites
o Although experience not necessary, general knowledge of tools and equipment helpful.
o Basic math skills
o Physical and drug test required
