72Email a FriendApply NowJob Description:POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:The Billing Specialist manages accounts payable and PCard transactions for Interpreter Services across the HealthPartners Family of Care including Regions Hospital, Park Nicollet Health Services, and HealthPartners Medical and Dental Group. This role is responsible for individual review of invoices to ensure billing accuracy, revision and approval of invoices, tracking and communication of trends related to vended service expenses, and the development and management of systems to ensure efficiency in these processes. In addition, the Billing Specialist manages all PCard transactions for Interpreter Services and acts as a back-up scheduler, ensuring resources are made available to meet the communication needs of clinic staff, providers, and patients requiring interpreter services.Minimum Qualifications:Experience:One (1) year accounts payable experience. Four (4) years clerical or scheduling and staffing experience. Significant experience working in a multicultural/ multilingual setting.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of accounts payable and scheduling practices and systems

Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines

Ability to learn and leverage new systems quickly to improve operations

Knowledge of modern office procedures, practices and equipment

Ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and effectively by both orally and in writing across multiple departments, sites, and communication styles

Establish and maintain effective respectful working relationships with internal customers, agency partners, and department staff

Ability to work calmly and independently in a fast paced environment, adapt quickly to changing situations, and juggle multiple priorities simultaneously

Accepts responsibility and accountability for his/her actions, decisions and professionalism
