Job Description

• Manage and develop director reports include panel leader, technicians and panelists.
• Deliver financial goals, revenue and profit, through sound sales, client management and operational practices.
• Provide consultative research design expertise to each projects.
• Develop and maintain a thought-leadership presence in the professional sensory science community.
• Collaborate with cross-functional department heads to continuously improve and innovate standard operating procedures so to expand project profitability, client satisfaction and to protect/enhance our competitive point of difference in the market
• Develop and enforce appropriate SOPs and methods, and established policies and procedures
• Ensure that all safety guidelines and procedures are followed as safety of our employees is a primary responsibility
• Other duties may be assigned as dictated by business necessity

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Food Science or Sensory Science preferred
• 5+ years of experience in sensory research or a related field
• Experience in Descriptive Analysis including full profiles, panelist motivational issues, panelist training, panel monitoring, etc. is required
• Willing to undergo sensory acuity screening
