Job Description

Job responsibilities:

• Assembly of roof and floor trusses according to Standard work
• Perform plate picker functions
• Pre-pick plate orders from plate picklists
• Prepare odd panels, ends, verticals, bearing block assemblies, blocks for floor
• Assist and support External set-up position as directed
• Assist drivers in delivery and/or pickup of product and materials
• Ride along on deliveries and returns as directed
• Help load/unload jobs as directed
• Perform outside stacker function as needed or directed
• Stack and band trusses off the assembly line
• Make general plate repairs
• Inspect for Quality issues or concerns and fix if possible or bring to assembly leads attention
• Assist forklift operators as needed or directed
• Assist with cycle counts and full inventories as directed
• Perform other miscellaneous duties, as assigned
• Assist in Saw room as directed

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Carry, lift, push and pull up to 100 lbs.
• Bend/squat repetitively
• Ability to climb up and down on assembly table (approximate 3 feet elevation)
• Stand for the majority of the workday
• Reach above head/shoulders
• Production environment
• Exposure to weather conditions

Pay: $16/hr plus overtime after 40 hours in a week

Hours: 5:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. on Monday - Friday
