Primary Duties / Responsibilities: Review laboratory and production documents daily to assess the quality of products and determine that products meet customer specifications. Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment. Arrange for repairs as needed Conduct physical and organoleptic evaluations of products and ingredients Conduct testing and analysis of routine and special products, trials, etc. and provide effective reports to involved parties (management, vendors, customers, etc.) Position may conduct investigations into incidents, quality issues, complaints and develop corrective action plans. Proactively identify and implement opportunities for Continuous Improvement The qualified candidate will be entering their sophomore, junior or senior year in the fall of 2020 with a degree focus in Dairy Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Microbiology or related field.
