DTS has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are looking for a Technical Trainer - Diesel Diagnostics and ATS to work with a Fortune 500 equipment manufacturer. The Technical trainer will train diesel-engine service technicians with respect to diagnostic procedures and exhaust after-treatment systems (ATS). You will instruct multi-day courses using the facilities, equipment, and curriculum provided. Training formats will include virtual (online) instruction, classroom instruction, and/or hands-on instruction in a shop environment. You will deliver face-to-face training at dealerships or corporate training centers in the USA or Canada (must travel approximately two weeks per month) as well as virtual (online) training from your home office.
Required (all the following)

  • Prior experience as a diesel-engine service technician (on-road or off-road equipment)
  • Verbal communication skills
  • Technical communication skills
  • Works well independently
  • Computer proficiency, including the ability to use webcams and video-conferencing software
  • This position will be working every other week, typically traveling one week on one week off.

Preferred (any of the following)
  • Familiarity with diesel-engine exhaust after-treatment systems
  • Prior experience as a technical trainer
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English)


Must be available to work on W2 for Volt. No C2C or 3rd party vendors please.
