Hobbs Construction is in search of an experienced accountant/bookeeper to join our growing construction company. We are a growing comany currently expanding nationwide. The local opportunity is full time with compensation being negotiable based on experience. 2 to 5 years bookeeeping experience preferred. Construction knowledge or background a huge plus. Knowledge of Sage Software also a plus. We are a family owned and operated business looking for our newest team member.
Duties will include
Assist in reconciliation of credit card statements
Maintain supplier invoices and receptions
Document vendor returns and company credit in accounting system; regularly follow-up with vendors regarding outstanding returns for credit
Maintain spreadsheet of vendor returns and credits
Accurately journalize accounts payable payments
Periodically reconcile vendor account statements with company records and investigate any discrepancies
Coordinate with Staff to maintain flow and accuracy of vendor invoices and returns
