The Women in Construction Program at Moore Community House in Biloxi is now recruiting for our next class. Our full-time, eight-week construction program provides hands-on skills, industry-recognized credentials, and job placement and case management assistance to help graduates find employment in apprenticeship, industry and nontraditional careers for women.
We offer child care assistance!
There is no cost to participants. To qualify, you must be interested in a construction career, be 18 years or older and be able to perform demanding physical labor. Space is limited.
The first step to enrolling is attending an information session at the Women in Construction Training, Resource and Employment Center, 684 Walker Street in Biloxi. Please be sure to visit the website to see the information you will need to bring with you in order to participate.
