Fast paced Hattiesburg Dental Clinic seeking a motivated individual to join our team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Completing insurance verifications by calling insurance companies, looking up benefits online, and receiving benefits via fax as needed
Updating patient's accounts with the current coverage information
Updating insurance group policies and benefits in our practice management software, Dentrix
Filing/correcting claims and corresponding with insurance once claims have been filed
Working insurance aging reports to be sure that we get paid in a timely manner
Occasional reception duties
All other duties assigned
Qualifications include:
Strong attention to detail
Positive attitude
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent time management skills
Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask
Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient focused environment
Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and insurance billing codes beneficial
Previous experience using Dentrix is helpful
