To provide assistance to nursing and procedural areas for patient lifting, transfer, turning and ambulation as directed by licensed personnel. The incumbent will be responsible for providing patient transportation throughout the facility, as well as providing transportation of patient and their personal effects upon discharge. The Transport Lift Tech should maintain awareness for opportunities to represent the Medical Center by serving in it's best interest, and is also responsible for maintaining equipment in good working order. Transport Lift Tech must be trained in all transport and necessary patient care equipment, IV pump transport, oxygen canisters, foley bags, and etc. Performs all other duties as assigned.Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred. 1 Year Undergraduate Coursework Preferred. Experience: No Experience Required. 1 year Related Experience Preferred. License/Certification/Registries (valid for the State of MS): Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification within 30 Days of Employment.
