CRAssociates is looking for a Registered Nurse to work on an as-needed basis in our Kosciusko, MS clinic! If you are looking for extra shifts or a change of pace apply today! This is a per diem (as-needed), weekday, day-shift position with NO CANCELLED SHIFTS! CRA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to our Veteran population.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Educate patient and family regarding benefits and risk factors for optimal bio-psycho-social functioning, community resources, wellness and health promotion to enhance shared decision-making.
- Perform health assessments to identify new symptoms of possibly undiagnosed conditions or complications.
- Exercise professional nursing judgment to work with a variety of professionals, agencies, and systems.
- Document all patient services in the electronic medical record including but not limited to face-to-face encounters, group education, telephone contacts, etc.
- Perform necessary triage functions when needed or requested.
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Registered Nurse holding one of the following degrees: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or an Associate Degree in Nursing. National Case Management certification preferred.
- A current unrestricted state license to practice as a registered nurse in Mississippi.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience as an RN or similar position in an outpatient setting.
- Must hold a current and valid BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
