Find your future with us.Position OverviewThis position is for a Level 4 Supplier Requirements Engineer (SRE) within the F/A-18 Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) organization in the St. Louis, MO area. This unique role requires the ability to coordinate across organizations to accurately define supplier engineering requirements and to perform complex supplier cost analyses.Position Responsibilities:Works closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment to develop supplier statements of work and supplier data requirements for a variety of complex systems.

Uses the structured requirements process to ensure requirements are clear, unambiguous verifiable and affordable.

Interprets Customer requirements in relation to supplier requirements development

Performs analysis of supplier cost proposals using engineering inputs and cost assessment techniques as appropriate.

Develops and implements systems engineering processes.

Advises interfacing organizations in the application of systems engineering processes.

Engages in other Systems Engineering tasks across the F/A-18 SEIT.

Security Clearance :This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering field or related technical degree.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Prior systems engineering/SRE “Supplier Requirements Engineer” work experience

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
