The Accountant I is responsible for the maintenance and coordination of accounting books and records. Preparation, review, analysis, and presentation of various accounting processes inclusive of journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliation, and revenue & expense variance presentation. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepares general ledger closing entriesReviews, analyzes, and presents financial statementsReconciles bank accountsReconciles general ledger balance sheet accounts and maintains proper backupExercises proper judgment and presents all findings with a game plan to resolve issuesAssists and supports other staff members and other department managers as needed
