The ideal candidate has a full lifecycle background in software design, development and programming. The ideal candidate is a hard-working individual who communicates effectively, has a creative but analytical mindset and completes projects in a timely manner. He or she should be self-motivated and self-supervised, as telecommuting is encouraged for at least part of the work week. Collaborate with clients to determine application requirements and design
Plan, design and code applications to match specifications
Write efficient code that provides optimal functionality
Formulate efficient database retrieval systems
Ensure code is error-free, readable, efficient, and logically organized for ease of maintenance
Research relevant programming technology and techniques when required
Collaborate with developers to improve coding processes and best practices
Manage and maintain application code in a code repository
Develop use cases and test plans for user application testing
Create system and application documentation for technical library
Provide weekly status reports
Manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
Collaborate in cross-functional projects
Respond quickly to tech support requests from clients Programmer Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in computer programming, computer science or related field
5+ years of programming experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent analytical and organizational skills
Extensive experience in various programming languages / tools (C#, .NET, Windows, DevExpress, Web
Services)
HTML, CSS, DevExpress, MVC, Bootstrap, REST API, ArcMap, ArcGIS experience preferred
Visual Studio / Team Foundation Server (TFS) experience preferred
Extensive experience in various databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PL/SQL, MS SQL, Stored Procedures)
Excellent relational database management skills

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
