Job Description:
Typical days start at 4:30 am and end around 1:30-3:30 pm. Drivers meet at Jefferson City warehouse and organize paperwork for the day. Pre-Trip Inspections are recorded and drivers leave the warehouse facility around 5:00 am. Drivers operate a company vehicle to transport product to multiple locations throughout the Midwest. Drivers physically unload products from truck at customers’ places of business. Drivers keep DOT and company required records throughout the day. Periodically check phone for missed calls from management, office and/ or sales representatives and make return calls. Post Trip Inspections. Turn in Paperwork. Clean Truck, fill with fuel and top-off all necessary fluids.
Objective(s):
- Work as a team to safely and efficiently deliver foodservice products while maximizing customer service levels
Daily Responsibilities:
- Show up on time
- Follow company policies and procedures in regards to the following areas: record keeping, DOT regulations, truck cleanliness / maintenance, safety, etc.
- Provide superior customer service while guaranteeing delivery accuracy
- Make multiple delivery stops throughout the day using two-wheeled dolly
- Periodically check phone and return company calls

Prerequisites:
- Current / Valid Class A or B CDL
- Current / Valid CDL physical
- Self-motivators who deliver excellence and quality of service at account
- Friendly with Customers and Coworkers
- Must be Reliable and Flexible
- Drivers must be physically able to lift cases of canned goods, five-gallon chemical buckets, boxed meats, etc.
- Must be able to work with a two wheel dolly.
