PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Performs trailer preventative maintenance repairs and general troubleshooting work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Repair and maintain company trailers using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and machine tools.
Diagnose, troubleshoot and examine parts for defects and excessive wear.
Recondition, repair or replace parts.
Perform routine maintenance checks including inspecting brake system, wheel bearings, electrical system, and air systems.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Aluminum and steel mig welding experience
Mechanical technician experience and/or previous related experience in trailer repair.
Must have valid driver's license.
Must have attention to detail.
Strong oral and written communication skills required.
Must be able to handle a fast-paced, physically demanding workload.
Shifts Available:
Monday-Thursday, 7:30pm6am
