This position will be located in Kansas City, MO Summary of Duties: Responsible for managing the elicitation, collection, analysis, documentation and communication of business and users requirements, as well as driving the business towards optimal technical solutions
This position will support the Digital Transformation working with various FM&T sub-teams
Participates in ad-hoc consulting with one or more subject matter experts and leverages technical knowledge and experience to improve one or more business processes within an organization, generally involving use and improvement of information systems
Occasionally leads small to medium work packages
Leads investigation and development of recommendation on buy vs build decisions on medium complexity projects
Serves as a liaison across organizations for process improvement, business processes and systems integration
Consults with and actively engaged with customers to ensure optimal utilization of existing information technologies
Assists more senior personnel and/or management in resolving conflict and removing barriers to ensure successful resolution
Assesses customer needs on medium complexity projects utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to prioritize immediate business needs and recommends options, risks and cost vs benefits
Leads the development and communication of business requirements to the IT community for the design and implementation of business solutions. Ensures traceability of requirements throughout projects lifecycle including Statement Of Work (SOWs) with suppliers
Reviews quality acceptance test plan and monitors the testing process to ensure that expected business results are adequately tested/achieved and the remaining risks are acceptable
Establishes relationships across business function by being proactive, displaying a high level of knowledge of the business and by providing innovative business solutions
You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline with a minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis, process modeling / improvements
Two or more years in a technical execution role, and 2 years of experience supporting IT projects
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and communication skills (both oral and written)
Must be able to get Q qualification and keep it
