Compensation RangeAnnual Salary: $114,500.00 - $157,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)About This JobCommerce Bank is seeking a high-energy and experienced candidate to fill a role as a senior product leader. We believe that incredible digital experiences are key to how we deliver industry leading products and solutions to our customers. Leveraging their deep experience in both commercial payments and digital, this position will be lead a team of product managers responsible for creating and executing a strategy focused on engaging our commercial customers through our digital channels. This position and their team will have direct product management responsibility for our commercial online channel (Commerce Connections) and commercial APIs.In order to be successful, the candidate will partner with multiple business lines including; Sales, IT, Operations, Commercial Product, Enterprise Digital Strategy as well with Commerce Bank customers and prospects. A successful candidate will be self-driven, have a strong understanding of banking technology, the ability to formulate new ideas and concepts with limited direction and be able to communicate these ideas to all business partners in a manner that will promote innovation within the Commercial teams.Essential Functions

Engage with corporate customers to understand their digital and integration needs

Collaborate with commercial bank stakeholders and customers to refine and expand our commercial digital strategy

Work closely with internal and external technology teams to translate complex requirements into technical user stories

In partnership with the commercial bank and enterprise digital strategy, refine and execute on the vision for our online channel - Commerce Connections

Create a joint vision for new features and capabilities for our integrated online channel utilizing APIs

Help create a framework for internal and external partnerships including API integration

Manage and refine a pricing strategy for responsible products

Partner with product marketing and sales enablement to ensure market success

Work with other product managers to align the digital roadmap with other products’ roadmaps

Educate internal partners on our digital capabilities and features

Lead, mentor and motivate team members to implement the department strategy and manage department workflow with guidance on departmental projects/issues, and provide coaching and development opportunities appropriate to each direct report's individual needs

Perform all necessary management functions, including hiring, evaluations, annual increase allocations and disciplinary action as required

Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant information to team members effectively

Support budget management, planning and expenditure

Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Strong knowledge of Commercial Payments, online channels, and the underlying technologies; including knowledge of best practices

Strong product instincts and an ability to balance customer and business impact

Knowledge of Agile development methodologies

Knowledge of the product life cycle

Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to apply discretion and sound judgement to efficiently and effectively solve problems

Ability to drive results and balance management of organizational risk and meeting goals of the business

Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate team members and foster a positive team environment that gives way to collaboration and unified goals

Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the company, clearly expressing ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing

Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience required

8+ years product management, payments, strategy, or planning experience required

4+ years leadership/supervisory experience required

Hybrid Schedule: In office 3 days per weekLevel of role is determined by knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and educationFor individuals applying, assigned and/or hired to work in areas with pay transparency requirements, Commerce is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for some roles. This compensation range is for the Manager and Senior Manager, Product Management - Commercial job and contemplates a wide range of factors that are considered in determining most appropriate job level and making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location, skill sets, education, relevant experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $114,500 to $157,000 annually. This position will be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
