Actalent is currently hiring for Mechanical Engineers in the Kansas City area. Qualified candidates must have a four year engineering degree. Experience working in manufacturing with a focus on quality and process improvement is highly preferred. Description:Responsible for reviewing warranty data and identifying the root cause of the issue. This will involve looking at the manufacturing process, design, package and supplier quality. Support assembly plant with Stop Ships/Stop Builds, Campaigns, Audits, Root Cause Analysis and other Quality issues.
Maintain sub-system or Vehicle Functional Group level quality documents and drive the achievement of quality targets.
Lead engineering design changes for future minor product launches.
Lead engineering trials and the implementation of running changes for the sub-system.
Issue engineering alerts and initiate and pursue authorization of engineering concerns for product changes to support quality objectives.
Engage technical experts and functional team members for driving resolution and in developing corrective actions to improve product Quality
Skills:ME, Manufacturing, Process improvement, New product development, Root cause analysis Additional Skills & Qualifications:MUST HAVE: Mechanical Engineering/Technical Bachelors Degree
Experience in quality or manufacturing process is heavily preferred.
