Job Description

As a Senior Engagement Owner on the Federal Change Management team, you will be accountable for external client relationships. You will manage complex client projects in environments with a high degree of variability that require influence to achieve targeted outcomes. You will promote client value via identification of baseline metrics, key performance indicator (KPI) management, and resulting value objectives. You will act as an escalation point for client and project risks. You will direct and manage a team of associates responsible for project deliverables. You will support execution of cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to execute client and methodology vision, objectives, and strategy driven by executive leadership. You will design, build, and maintain complex project plans based on contractual commitments.

In addition, as the Senior Engagement Owner you will have responsibility for overall change management delivery at a large VA facility level including oversight of organizational change consultants. You are a key member of facility engagement management team. You have responsibility for all facility-based risks and mitigation efforts related to change management, communication of results, data outputs, outcomes of the facility to internal and external stakeholders (status reports and monthly deliverables) for change management tactics, execution of the facility change management work plans and milestone achievement, and general oversight and inclusion of learning coordinator into change management activities.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 8 years total combined higher education and related work experience including:
    • At least 2 years healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, project/program management, client relationship management and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
    • At least 6 years higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
  • Due to the client contract, you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Multiple years of experience in organizational/people focused change management
  • Prior government experience
  • Experience leading large teams or Experience leading teams of several consultants
  • Change Management Certification
  • Experience in healthcare industry


Expectations
  • Willing to travel up to 80% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
