Hosting 40 tournaments for over 5,000 teams, we specialize in premium experience for club programs and players at all levels of competition.Job SummaryYou will be the Site Supervisor at a designated Prep Hoops facility in Kansas City on April 17-19. As a Site Supervisor, you will act as an extension of Prep Hoops for the weekend and are expected to treat your facility as if this were your own tournament. You must be the first one in the facility and the last one to leave each day. Your facility will be staffed by Prep Hoops with admissions workers, clock/book court workers, and a certified athletic trainer. Prep Hoops will provide you all the resources you will need leading up to and during the event to ensure your facility is running efficiently with no issues.The tentative hours are as follows: Friday 5:00pm-10:30pm, Saturday 7:00am-10:00pm, and Sunday 7:00am-5:00pm. Depending on the number of courts your facility has you will be paid $400-$500 cash or via PayPal. Lunch and dinner will be provided Saturday and lunch will be provided Sunday.Responsibilities and Duties

Leading up to the tournament you must review all training documents and videos. You will also have a one-on-one training call with Prep Hoops HQ.

On the day of the event, you will be required to go to the main tournament facility to get all items you'll need from the Prep Hoops Tournament Director (ie. game schedules, signage, Prep Hoops marketing materials, scoresheets, and any miscellaneous items.)

You will be responsible for making sure your facility is setup properly each day, especially on Friday evening before teams arrive. This includes the admissions area, team benches, scorers tables, and spectator seating.

You will be responsible for making sure all staff, teams, and officials arrive on time. Prep Hoops will provide you a staff and team directory to reach out to any workers, teams, or officials who show up late.

You must make sure all games are staying on schedule and not starting early. You are expected to be circulating courts throughout the day and resolving any issues that may come up. If you need to escalate any issues you will work directly with the Prep Hoops Tournament Director.

When the tournament ends, you are expected to help clean up garbage and put away chairs and tables on Sunday afternoon. We want to leave all the facilities in better condition than when we arrived.

Last but not least, COMMUNICATE. There are a lot of moving pieces during a basketball tournament. Continually check-in and respond in a timely manner when the Prep Hoops Tournament Director reaches out.

Qualifications and Skills

Punctuality is a must

Strong communication skills

Must have experience running sporting events in the past
