Farview Veterinary Hospital is hiring for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist.
A minimum of 1 year experience in a VETERINARY setting is required. Must possess strong communication skills, good judgement and be able to manage multiple tasks at once. Receptionists are the first and last contact our clients have with FVH and we want that experience to be positive.
Receptionists are responsible for maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, discharge instructions, taking payments, and managing workflow / client waiting time. Receptionists must be able to use practice management software and be able to answer basic questions over the phone.
Applicant must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, be dependable, and willing to learn. Some Saturdays are required.
We are a busy Small Animal, multi-doctor practice located in Independence, MO. Our practice utilized the latest technologies in x-ray, cold laser therapies, ultrasound, and dentals.
We are a drug free workplace. Drug testing and a background check will be performed prior to hire.
Salary: $10.00 to $13.00 /hour
