US Toy Company is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to add to our dynamic team.
The ideal person will create an exceptional in-store experience by providing remarkable service every day. Inspire and empower their team to exceed our Guests’ expectations. Will be accountable for modeling company directives, selling and ensuring their team consistently demonstrates our service model throughout the store. Responsible for assisting with management of sales floor, sales, operations, and providing leadership to team within retail store.
GUEST SERVICE
Demonstrates our service model and ensures team consistently demonstrates those behaviors and “heads up” approach with every Guest while providing an exceptional in-store experience.
Resolves Guest’s concerns in timely, friendly, and efficient manner within the store.
FLOOR MANAGEMENT
Participates in Manager-on-Duty (MOD) program.
Leads daily Team Meetings.
MERCHANDISING
Ensures inventory levels provide consistent in-stocks for Guests.
Develops a team that is engaged with guests and their job responsibilities.
SALES
Works with leadership team to achieve sales metrics as defined on Sales Dashboard/Business Reviews.
Ensures team is focused and engaged in driving sales.
GREAT OPERATIONS
Help maintains all aspects of physical building and equipment.
Manages back of store operations (e.g., Receiving)
LEADERSHIP
Plans effectively to achieve desired results.
Demonstrates and performs duties with integrity and professionalism.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older
2-3 years of successful supervisor experience in a retail environment.
Strong selling experience with the proven ability to meet or exceed performance standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven experience in recruiting, hiring, and training strong staff.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally ascends/descend a ladder and stand for long periods of time.
